The natural sulfur water springs in the Village of Clifton Springs, New York supported a prosperous health spa facility that operated from the mid nineteenth century until its closure in the 1950's. Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic embarked on an ambitious plan to retap the indigenous sulfur waters to provide an improved adaption of these historical treatments.
